Testimonials :

Dean's workshop was very refreshing in that it all about getting the image and not about stroking the ego of the photographer. He and his team did everything to make sure you felt welcome, asked as many questions as you wanted to and generally made you feel like a part of the crew.  I spent quality time talking to each crew member getting their spin in setups and lighting to get their perspective. And on top of it all, Jamie Lynn, who may be the most attractive woman I have ever seen in person, acted like one of us. She answered questions and joked around and generally made your forget what a beauty she was.

So, if you're going to spend your money on a workshop, would you prefer to take notes or get involved? Would you prefer to hear the photographer name drop or ask him why 5.6 is his preferred f-stop? This is my third workshop with a ‘name' photographer and this one was far and above the best one. If anything, it was too short. I could have easily hung out for a second day of first hand learning.

I don't know about you, but the first thing I look for in a workshop is does the instructor consistently shoot pictures of the quality you desire to attain. The second is can he teach you to do the same. Fortunately I found Dean. He and his team were very happy to share every detail of taking Grade A photographs. Its as simple as that. Besides, he has great taste in models.

His workshop is a deal at three times the price.

I joined the workshop with Jamie Lynn and it was great! Everybody was very professional. I commend Dean for his willingness to share his expertise and for the successful workshop that emphasized teaching rather than self-promotion. It was well worth it and a lot more. Jamie Lynn was so professional and Dean's crew very supportive. I learned a lot. I highly recommend the workshop to anybody who is serious of improving their photography skill.

- Hey Dean,

I want to thank you for the workshop and to let you know that I believe it took me to the next level as a glamour photographer. I went out and got a light meter and a light kit the very next day and wouldn't have had a clue as to how to use it before your workshop!

- Dean. Thank you very much for all your insight on light and how to pull off the perfect photo shoot! Also tell Mike and the rest of your crew Thank you.

This is the first work shop where I actually learned somethings I did not know.

Thank you very much Sir.

D. Jones.

- With more than 38 years in the glamour business its rare that i see someone with Deans dedication and talents. Even though i have shot many thousands of beautiful models in many countries using the best and worst equipment i am still learning. Attending Deans workshop provided a wealth of information on lighting techniques that will i will be experimenting with for weeks to come. He explains things in a very understandable way and is only too happy to go into great depth giving away many of his closely guarded secrets. I would recommend Deans workshops to amateurs and professionals alike and assure you that its money well spent

- Dean, Thanks for the awesome training. Bye the way, your crew really made me feel welcome and they are wonderful. I studied exposure with a tutor in January and February. I studied with another photographer in from March through April. He showed me your work and I was blown away by the stunning images and spectacular lighting. I drove down to LA from northern California to attend the workshop. I feel that your training will be taking me to the next level in my career as a photographer. Your workshop is a great value. You covered alot of important lighting techniques in one day. I loved the kitchen setup with snacks, coffee and bottled water. The lunch was a real treat too. I've been recommending your workshop to all my photographer friends. I'm writing my new lighting equipment order for B&H. I will do my best to to follow through with what I learned.
